Beginner's level throwing and shaping - 5 weeks

Duration: 5 weeks
Frequency: 1 two-hour class per week
Level: Beginner (no experience required)
Age: 16 years and over

Dive into the fascinating world of wheel throwing and hand-building with this 6-week course designed for curious and creative beginners. This course will allow you to discover the basics of throwing and hand-building and experience the joy of creating unique objects with your own hands.

Over the course of the weeks, you will learn to:

• Prepare and center the clay on the wheel

• Turning basic shapes (bowls, cups)

• Refine your pieces with turning

• Creating pieces through shaping (learning some techniques)

• Apply a glaze and prepare your pieces for baking

Each course includes a technical demonstration, supervised practice time, and personalized guidance. Materials, tools, clay, and firings are included.

At the end of the session, you will leave with 4 to 6 enameled pieces, ready to use or to give as gifts.

Small group, friendly and creative atmosphere. Come get your hands dirty and discover the transformative power of clay!

🧡 This session also makes you eligible to become a member of the workshop , to continue practicing freely in our space once the course is over.

We do not offer refunds. If you are unable to attend the session, please notify us at least 10 business days in advance. In this case, we will refund the course fee in the form of a gift card. If you cancel less than 10 business days in advance, it will unfortunately not be possible to reschedule or refund the workshop. We suggest you offer your place to someone else. If you miss a class during your session, it cannot be made up. It is your responsibility to attend. However, we can briefly review the missed material in the following class.
